The Steel Bubble is Wax's signature defensive technique: an invisible, expanding field of Steelpushing that shoves away every nearby scrap of metal at once, turning the Coinshot's power from a weapon into a shield. In Shadows of Self it shows up as a subtle, almost unnoticed tool, its presence betrayed only by the quiet shifting of coins, buttons and other metal items. By The Lost Metal it has become a vital battlefield refuge, deflecting bullets and shrapnel amid explosive combat. Its telltale side effect, the faint vibration of surrounding metal, has become as recognizable as the protection it gives.
