Allomantic Power Manifestation

Also known as Allomantic Steel Lines, Allomantic Blue Lines, Allomantic Steelpush

Magic system

Allomantic abilities manifest as controlled metal manipulation, flight capability, and enhanced physical feats. Thin blue lines extend from Allomancer to metal sources when burning steel. Invisible kinetic force pushes outward. Allomantic safe locks require specific Push/Pull sequences on internal pins with no visible keyhole. Cadmium time devices create time-slowing bubbles. Duralumin burns entire metal reserves in explosive bursts. Duralumin-enhanced Allomancy crushes metal objects between hands through opposing forces.

Allomantic power manifests most visibly through the translucent blue lines that a steel- or iron-burner sees stretching toward nearby metal, the perceptual foundation for every Push and Pull. In Shadows of Self this sensory signature anchors Wax's lawkeeping in Elendel. By The Lost Metal the same principles drive far more elaborate feats: steelpushing flight, Allomantic safe locks opened only by precise Push/Pull sequences on hidden pins, cadmium devices that bend time into slowing bubbles, and duralumin bursts strong enough to crush metal between opposing forces. Over the series, Allomancy grows from personal instinct into something woven into technology and high-stakes spectacle.
