Elder Vwafendal appears as a respected Terris elder, offering Wax guidance with the authority of age and tradition. Her cane is a chosen prop rather than a necessity, part of the deliberate dignity with which she presents herself. Known as Grandmother V, she serves as a mentor, though the text gives little further detail about her history or relationships.
Description
Vwafendal is an elderly, stately Terriswoman with white hair and skin darker than Wax’s. She wears Terris robes and walks with a cane she does not need, carrying it with deliberate composure. Her bearing is dignified and self-possessed, with the quiet authority of an elder.
