This unnamed soldier appears amid the ashfalls choking the land, leading his exhausted horse through chest-high drifts with a soldierly build and ashen, stained uniform. Representing the frontline toll of the world's collapse, he falls in battle, his corpse later found bloodied, missing an arm and head. His brief presence underscores the brutal attrition faced by Elend's forces against the encroaching doom.
Description
Of soldierly build, he has a square face topped by a balding head and shadowed by several days' stubble beard. His skin and uniform are stained black with ash, giving an ashen pallor to his weary features. Average in height, he carries the rugged presence of frontline endurance, leading a horse with grim determination.
