Rene appears briefly as Lady Kliss’s date at a gathering. He scrunches his ample brow in thought, and Kliss gives him a familiar pat on the arm; beyond this moment, the book reveals little about him.
Description
Rene is distinguished by an ample brow, which creases when he is thinking. The text gives no details about his height, build, complexion, hair, eyes, or clothing, so those features remain unknown. His brief appearance suggests a thoughtful, composed presence.
