The Last Emperor is a figure who exists only in the historical memory of Scadrial's later eras. He is never shown directly. In Shadows of Self he is invoked mainly in discussions of the past and the laws connected to his era. By The Lost Metal he survives only as a title, a distant reference that marks how far the world has moved from its imperial origins. Neither book gives an account of his life, his reign, or his fate.
Description
The Last Emperor’s physical appearance is not described. No details are given about his age, complexion, hair, eyes, build, facial features, or clothing, so these should not be fixed in a visual portrayal. His only established distinction is his historical identity as an emperor. The text provides no visual information about the Last Emperor. His face, age, build, complexion, hair, eyes, clothing, and bearing are all unspecified, so no particular appearance can be established.
