Known also as the coachman, Krent is glimpsed standing with his hands on his head as a building burns. The book offers no further account of his background, relationships, or what follows for him.
Description
Krent is identified as a coachman, but the text supplies no details about his face, hair, eyes, age, build, or clothing. His clearest visual impression is his posture: standing with both hands on his head, a gesture of alarm and disbelief. Beyond that, his appearance remains undescribed.
