Grent serves as a door guard and soldier speaking directly to Straff Venture during the tense standoff at Keep Venture, embodying the High Lord's martial enforcers. His background presence at key moments underscores Straff's military might amid koloss threats and negotiations. Without personal arc, he represents the faceless guards upholding noble power in Luthadel's siege. His vigilance fades into the novel's broader conflicts.
Description
Grent has a sturdy soldier's build, muscular and disciplined, with a stern face framed by short military-cropped hair. He wears Straff's uniform—gleaming breastplate, cloak, and polished boots—tailored for duty. Callused hands rest ready on his weapon, posture vigilant and commanding respect. His presence demands attention, every inch the poised sentinel. Piercing eyes and rigid stance amplify his authoritative aura.
