Chip Erikell is first found among the dead after the violence in the ballroom. Later, revealed as a Coinshot, he takes to the skies as a messenger, giving his brief part in the story a striking change of image—from stillness among the fallen to swift motion overhead. The text offers little about his personal life, but his appearances underscore how peril and purpose coexist in the book’s world.
Description
No consistent physical appearance is specified for Chip Erikell. His age, build, coloring, hair, eyes, facial features, and clothing are not described, so these details should remain open rather than invented.
