Captain Bedes, barely 16, commands a wall post during the koloss assault on Luthadel, his youthful nervousness stark against the chaos. Grabbed and tossed off by a koloss, his brief arc captures the brutal toll of war on the inexperienced. He represents the Venture army's fragile lines, crushed in the siege's fury.
Description
Barely 16, Captain Bedes towers spindly in his armor, pale skin stretched taut over a youthful frame. Thick hair grows wild down around his wide, nervous eyes, framing a face etched with tension. His build is lanky, unsuited to the heavy plate bearing Venture colors. He stands rigid, hands fidgeting with barely contained fear.
