The Ascendant Warrior, the revered title later generations give to Vin, survives in the era of Wax and Wayne mostly as monument and legend. In Shadows of Self she looms as a giant statue, and the kandra TenSoon remembers her as his last and greatest master, powerful yet vulnerable and wholly devoted to her cause. By The Lost Metal her story has blurred into myth, with tellers crediting her with Allomantic feats they cannot explain, from manipulating metal inside a person to smashing through glass to slay the Lord Ruler in a children's tale.
Description
A human figure represented by a giant statue; no further physical or clothing details are given. The text provides no concrete physical portrait of the Ascendant Warrior: no stated height, build, complexion, hair, eyes, clothing, or distinguishing marks. They are best represented visually as an intentionally indistinct figure, framed by the antique, uncertain atmosphere of legend rather than by invented personal features.

The kandra TenSoon once served the Ascendant Warrior and, centuries later, still honors her as his last and greatest master. His living memory of her as powerful, vulnerable, and fully committed stands in contrast to the more mythologized versions of her story told elsewhere.
