The Four-Eyed Mutant Humanoid first appears in Volume 2 as a grotesque, luminous-eyed figure whose dark-green beams suggest an otherworldly origin. Across the series it evolves from a one-off horror encounter into a recurring symbol of corrupted humanity, its presence hinting at deeper mutations tied to the Beyonder pathways and the ever-expanding threat of the Outer Deities. By later volumes its four-eyed visage becomes a visual shorthand for the boundary between man and monster, underscoring the series’ central theme that power inevitably distorts identity.
