The Bestias de Alcantarillas are introduced in Volume 2 as enigmatic, visually undefined predators lurking in the depths of Tingen’s sewer system, posing a lethal threat to any Beyonder who ventures too far below ground. Across the series they remain largely unchanged in nature—still feral, still unseen—but their narrative weight grows as the sewers themselves become a recurring stage for clandestine meetings, desperate escapes, and ritualistic confrontations. Their presence underscores the city’s hidden layers of danger, reminding readers that even the most ordinary urban infrastructure can conceal horrors capable of devouring the unprepared.
