Salto Llameante emerges in Volume 2 as a crimson-flame teleportation technique that lets its user step through any connected fire source, turning scattered hearths and torches into an instantaneous travel network. Over the course of the series the ability evolves from a simple translocation trick into a strategic cornerstone of Klein Moretti’s operations, enabling rapid repositioning during high-stakes confrontations and clandestine movements across cities. As Klein’s mastery of the flames deepens, the technique begins to exhibit secondary effects—such as momentary flame cloaking and the capacity to ferry small objects or allies—foreshadowing its eventual integration into higher Sequences of the Seer pathway.
