Emperatriz Borough emerges as the quintessential aristocratic enclave of Backlund, its opulent villas and proximity to Sodela Palace establishing it as the seat of noble power and privilege. Across the series, the borough transforms from a static symbol of wealth into a dynamic stage where political intrigue, supernatural threats, and social upheaval converge, reflecting the broader turmoil of the era. Its manicured streets and grand estates become the backdrop for clandestine meetings, assassinations, and the unraveling of long-buried secrets, underscoring how even the most insulated districts are not immune to the machinations of higher beings and the shifting tides of fate.
