Cherwood emerges in Volume 2 as a shadowy, fog-laden district of Tingen that quickly becomes the epicenter of the Sin Rostro (Faceless) arc. Over the course of the volume it transforms from a mere urban backdrop into a living web of hidden alleys, abandoned factories, and clandestine meeting halls where Klein Moretti’s investigation into the Antigonus family notebook reaches its climax. By the finale, Cherwood’s labyrinthine streets and its eerie “Cherwood City” ruins have been indelibly linked to the resurrection of ancient Beyonder powers and the first overt appearance of the Seer pathway’s higher sequences.
