The Time Worm emerges in Volume 2 as an unforeseen byproduct of purification rituals, initially serving as an unwitting vessel for Amon's fragmented presence. Created by the Angel of Time as a living container, this ethereal creature—distinguished by its twelve transparent rings—bridges the physical and metaphysical realms, marking it as a unique artifact rather than a conventional organism. Throughout the series, it evolves from a passive host to a pivotal element in Amon's schemes, embodying the intersection of time manipulation and parasitic existence.

Description

The Time Worm is a small, translucent creature with twelve distinct transparent rings running along its length. Its body has the appearance of pale glass, allowing light to pass through while revealing subtle internal structures. The rings are perfectly formed and evenly spaced, creating a segmented appearance that distinguishes it from ordinary worms. Its delicate form seems almost weightless, with a soft, organic texture that catches light in ethereal ways.
