Black Eye emerges in Volume 2 as a perilous relic left by the slain Master of Puppetry Rosago, saturated with the True Creator’s corrosive mental influence and radiating Sequence 5-level power. Throughout the series it functions as both a ticking psychic bomb and a coveted source of corrupted authority, forcing protagonists to weigh its destructive potential against the tactical advantages it might confer. Its presence ripples outward from a single confrontation, seeding later plots that revolve around the containment, study, or weaponization of divine madness.
