Proculus began as a native of Albengue on the Genoese coast who rose through military prowess and personal ambition. He armed two thousand of his own slaves and acquired riches through robbery, demonstrating both his martial capabilities and his willingness to operate outside conventional authority. His story ended when he was beheaded in the suburbs of Constantinople after attempting to escape judgment.
Description
A middle-aged Roman officer with a stocky, powerful build and weathered Mediterranean skin. Short-cropped dark hair shows early gray at the temples, and his sharp eyes suggest both military experience and calculating ambition. His practical Roman military attire bears the marks of rank, though his overall presence carries the weight of someone who has lived by his own rules.
