Mithridates VI ruled Pontus and commanded an empire that stretched across the Black Sea region. His decision to order the massacre of Romans in Asia marked him as Rome's implacable enemy, while his later addition of Colchis to his dominions showed the extent of his ambitions, even as he bound his own son in chains of gold.
Description
A mature adult male with the commanding presence of ancient royalty. His extensive empire and royal status are reflected in his dignified bearing. Golden chains serve as symbols of his authority and vast dominions across the Euxine region.
