Quintus Aemilius Laetus served as Praetorian prefect under both Commodus and Pertinax, becoming a central figure in the conspiracy that ended Commodus's reign. He initially excited the political tempest that followed but prudently avoided public scrutiny, and later appeared with his army intact after a crucial battle, though suspected of having held back during the fighting. His career ended when he was put to death after achieving victory.

Description

A Roman military officer with commanding presence, wearing the distinctive uniform and insignia of a Praetorian prefect. His short-cropped hair and clean-shaven face reflect military discipline, while his stern expression and military bearing convey authority. He wears armor beneath a military cloak, the attire of a man who holds significant power within the imperial guard.
