Gordian III began as a boy of thirteen, grandson of Gordian I and nephew of Gordian II, elevated from Caesar to full Augustus by the Praetorian guards. Initially under the influence of eunuchs, he later found guidance under Misitheus. His innocent demeanor and features showing latent virtues marked him as a promising young ruler whose reign ended at nineteen when he was killed by soldiers influenced by Philip and buried near the Aboras river.
Description
A young Roman emperor whose features display the innocence of youth combined with latent virtues. Initially appearing as a boy of thirteen and later as a young man of nineteen, his appearance reflects both his imperial status and the vulnerable position of a young ruler navigating the complexities of power.
