Flavius Dalmatius, brother of Constantine, was decorated with the title of Censor and later raised to Caesar, governing Thrace, Macedonia, and Greece. As the most illustrious of Constantine's cousins, he was murdered in the massacre that followed his uncle's death, his considerable abilities inherited from the great emperor cut short by political violence.
Description
A middle-aged Roman nobleman of imperial lineage, with the dignified bearing befitting his rank as Censor. His features reflect the Constantinian bloodline, marked by the formal attire of high office and the sober demeanor of one who later embraced monastic life.
