Catibah began as a simple camel driver in service to the expanding Islamic empire under Walid. His military acumen and leadership transformed him into a successful lieutenant who led campaigns deep into Central Asia. He planted the standard of Muhammad on the walls of Herat, Merou, and Balch, marking the reach of Islamic conquest into Transoxiana.
Description
Catibah appears as a middle-aged Arab man with sun-weathered skin and a sturdy build suited to desert travel. His short dark hair and beard frame a face marked by exposure to harsh climates. He wears simple, practical desert robes with a head covering, and carries himself with the bearing of a camel driver accustomed to long journeys across vast distances.
