Alaric II inherited the Visigothic throne as a helpless infant upon his father Euric's death, growing up in the shadow of his father's formidable legacy. His reign was defined by the looming presence of Clovis, whose military genius and political ambition would ultimately prove his undoing. He fell in single combat to Clovis, marking the end of Visigothic dominance in Gaul.

Description

A youthful king with the slender build of one still growing into his royal robes. His dark hair and pale complexion mark him as Visigothic nobility, while his bearing carries both the dignity of his station and the vulnerability of his youth. His features suggest someone more accustomed to court than battlefield.
