Al-Muntasir was the son of Caliph Mutawakkil who led a revolution against his father, ascending to the throne with his hands stained by patricide. His brief six-month reign was marked by guilt and grief, symbolized by his weeping at the tapestry depicting Chosroes' murdered son, before he too met his end, having lost both worlds.
Description
A young Abbasid prince with the refined features appropriate to his royal lineage, though marked by the weight of his actions. His appearance reflects both his noble status and the inner torment that defines him, wearing royal garments that cannot conceal the burden he carries.
