The Underground Tunnel beneath Solivagus begins as a simple descending shaft in The Will of the Many, but its significance grows as it becomes a vital artery connecting the surface world to the hidden chambers that house the Hierarchy's most guarded secrets. Across the series, the tunnel transforms from a mere passageway into a strategic battleground, a sanctuary for rebels, and ultimately a symbol of resistance against the oppressive regime. Its evolution mirrors the protagonists' journey from discovery to rebellion, with each book revealing new depths—both literal and metaphorical—of this subterranean network.
