Lesser Hall begins as a modest, private senatorial chamber in The Will of the Many, but its significance grows as the series progresses, becoming a pivotal site for clandestine political maneuvering and power shifts within the Catenan Hierarchy. Over subsequent books, it transforms from a mere auxiliary meeting space into a symbolic and strategic battleground where critical decisions reshape the empire's future. Its evolution mirrors the broader narrative arc of secrecy giving way to revelation, as hidden deliberations increasingly influence public outcomes.
