The Great Hall of Suus begins as a ceremonial chamber for royal and political gatherings in the first book, but its significance expands dramatically as the series unfolds. What starts as a symbol of traditional authority transforms into a nexus of political intrigue, rebellion, and ultimately, the site of pivotal confrontations that reshape the Hierarchy itself. Across the books, the hall evolves from a passive backdrop of governance into an active participant in the power struggles that define the series.
