Ysabel begins as a distant, almost symbolic figure in the first book of The Hierarchy series, introduced only as Vis's older sister and the princess of Suus. Her royal status immediately establishes the stakes of the family's position within the kingdom's hierarchy, framing Vis's own journey as one shaped by both privilege and expectation. Though her presence is minimal in the early narrative, her role as a royal sibling sets the foundation for future developments in family dynamics and political intrigue across the series.
Description
A princess of Suus with the bearing and appearance appropriate to her royal station, her presence marked by the dignity and authority that comes with her position as older sister to Vis.
