Matron Atrox begins as the steadfast, impeccably presented manager of the Letens orphanage in The Will of the Many, where her patience and quiet dignity anchor the children's daily lives. Over the course of the series, the emotional weight of her responsibilities visibly erodes her once-trim frame and bright green eyes, leaving her smaller and more fatigued yet still resolute. Her arc traces the slow, dignified surrender of a woman whose compassion is both her strength and her undoing, as the orphanage becomes a microcosm of the Hierarchy's broader cruelties.
Description
An older woman with striking green eyes and shoulder-length blond hair, her petite features always impeccably groomed. She wears the white skirt and formal attire appropriate to orphanage management, maintaining perfect composure with never a hair out of place. Her presence combines maternal warmth with administrative authority.
