Cassowary Finn, son of Pochard Finn, works as a go-between for his father and Lucian Lamprey, keeping an eye on fights that might interest Lucian. He serves as Lucian’s assistant and dogsbody, running errands and trying to find useful information. His nervous manner and hesitation at a door suggest a young man still finding his footing in the work he has been given.
Description
Cassowary is described as a nervous-looking young man, but his specific age, build, complexion, hair, and eyes are not given. He wears practical clothing suited to errands rather than display. His hesitant posture and alert, uneasy expression are his clearest visual markers, giving him the air of someone accustomed to waiting for instructions.
