The Trophy Room is a Hogwarts chamber filled with gleaming cups, shields, plaques, and statues honoring students' achievements. In Harry's first year it becomes the site of a trap, when Draco Malfoy challenges Harry to a midnight wizard's duel there and then tips off Filch, sending Harry, Ron, Hermione, and Neville fleeing through the castle until they stumble upon the forbidden third-floor corridor and Fluffy. The room returns in the Triwizard Tournament year as a place associated with the school's accumulated honors, a quiet reminder of the glory students compete for.
