Madam Rosmerta is the pretty, curvy landlady of the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade, a warm fixture of the village whose pub serves as a refuge for Hogwarts students. In Prisoner of Azkaban she plays an unexpectedly pivotal role when Harry, hidden under the Invisibility Cloak, overhears her conversation with Hogwarts staff and the Minister for Magic revealing the supposed betrayal of the Potters by Sirius Black. By Goblet of Fire she has settled back into the role of a familiar background presence, keeping an appraising eye on her busy bar while the wider wizarding world grows tense around her.
Description
A curvy woman with a pretty face framed by soft waves of hair, her figure accentuated by the fitted bodice of her barmaid attire. Sparkling turquoise high heels catch the light as she moves gracefully behind the bar, apron tied neatly at her waist. Her smile is warm and inviting, eyes twinkling with the lively energy of pub hospitality. Rosmerta is described as a pretty adult landlady, seen working behind the bar at the Three Broomsticks. She carries herself with an attentive, appraising air amid the inn’s bustle, once looking across the room from behind the counter beside an overflowing flagon of mead. No details are given about her height, build, coloring, hair, eyes, or particular clothing.
