Leila Williams enters Christian's recollections as a former submissive shattered by her husband's death, her desperation culminating in a slashed wrist and failed suicide attempt at his apartment. Her chaotic intrusion forces Christian to confront echoes of his past dominations, intersecting painfully with his budding love for Ana and prompting intervention from his team. Ultimately, Leila's arc resolves through therapy and relocation, a stark mirror to Christian's own journey from control to emotional freedom.
