Vixen, the old bitch hound in Burrich's kennels, appears briefly as a background figure among the hunting pack, her years of service evident in her seasoned form. She represents the timeless cycle of the stables' working dogs, offering fleeting companionship to young Fitz amid his early lessons. Though minor, her elder presence underscores the kennel's hierarchy and the hounds' vital role in Buckkeep's world.
