Sitswell emerges once as a man in Lord Kelvar's livery, a minor background figure during diplomatic tensions at the duke's holdings. His brief appearance highlights the web of feudal allegiances straining under pressure from the Pockedman plague and forged letters. He serves as a fleeting emblem of the outlying nobility's precarious position, vanishing as quickly as he arrives in the narrative.
