Nik Holdfast enters as a loyal Buckkeep crewman, steadfast in his duties until a brutal fight leaves him battered with a swollen eye and bloody mouth. Though his role is brief, his holdfast spirit embodies the resilient folk of the Six Duchies, fading to mention as greater tides turn.
