Molly's father is a gangly, raw-boned drunkard whose red nose betrays his vices, abusing his daughter with frequent bruises in their Buckkeep home. Antagonistic in his brief appearances, he drives the wedge between Molly and Fitz through his cruelty. He fades into background irrelevance, embodying the petty tyrannies that scar the lives of the keep's common folk.
