Hands is the steadfast stable hand at Buckkeep, aiding Fitz with horses like Sooty and Ruddy and offering small kindnesses amid the castle's intrigues. He remains a background pillar of reliability, teaching care for the king's prized stallions without fanfare. In a world of shifting loyalties, his quiet competence endures unchanged.
