Damon enters as a supporting character, the bulky little talkative master whose fluttering hands and endless words aid the protagonist's early training at Buckkeep. He fades to background as the trilogy's scope widens, his role tied to foundational skills amid rising threats. Ultimately, he represents the quirky mentors shaping the shadows of the Farseer legacy.
