Chade's unnamed mistress, a scarred swordswoman with long brown hair, aids the Farseer cause from the shadows of Buckkeep's tower. Her athletic prowess and battle-hardened body support Chade's intrigues, training and bedding the old assassin amid his plots. Though minor, her presence underscores Chade's hidden life, vanishing into the margins as the trilogy crescendos.
