Brant appears briefly as a taller stable boy a few years older than young Fitz, sharing the rough camaraderie of the stables under Burrich's watch. His role is small but vivid in Fitz's early days, embodying the everyday rivalries and bonds of stable life before Fitz's world expands. He fades into the background as Fitz's path diverges, a fleeting glimpse of normalcy in the bastard's turbulent youth.
