Dynamite is one of Carl's earliest and most enduring tools of destruction in the World Dungeon, a humble, familiar explosive that he quickly learns to weaponize with alarming creativity. In the first book it appears as a modest bundle of five red sticks paired with a lighter, a crude but reliable answer to threats too large to fight head-on. By the second book, Carl has graduated from simply lighting fuses to engineering elaborate multi-stage detonation sequences, with dynamite serving as the final link in chains of escalating explosions, a hallmark of his growing reputation as the dungeon's most inventive demolitionist.
