The Iron Tangle is the vast, labyrinthine subway network that defines the dungeon's third floor, a sprawling web of color-coded lines, transfer stations, and unpredictable non-colored trains that crawlers must navigate to find the stairwells. Carl, Princess Donut, and their allies learn to exploit and sabotage the system, turning trains and tracks into weapons in their escalating defiance of the showrunners. The Tangle resurfaces in the eighth floor's chaos, its dark, rock-hewn tunnels and intersecting lines once again forming a dangerous transit maze that echoes the earlier floor's design.
