The High Elf Castle is the seat of Queen Imogen, a grand fortress of the high elves first encountered on the sixth floor of the World Dungeon. In The Eye of the Bedlam Bride, the castle is teleported wholesale to the ninth floor, signaling that the dungeon's political factions and their strongholds can outlast the floors they were built on. By This Inevitable Ruin, the castle is recalled as a sprawling sixth-floor palace famed for its many ballrooms, a reminder of the opulent court intrigue that once played out within its walls.
