Tinky Winky is invoked as a purple Teletubby character, remembered as having been eaten by Mongo. The mention also casts the character’s apparently innocent manner as potentially treacherous, though no fuller story is provided.
Description
Tinky Winky is a purple Teletubby character with a soft, rounded, plush-looking silhouette. The familiar children’s-show design gives the figure an outwardly innocent, cuddly presence, though the mention leaves that innocence feeling uncertain. No further details of facial features, clothing, or distinguishing accessories are specified.
