The barefoot man appears as a formidable, enigmatic antagonist, moving with an unhurried confidence unlike the shuffling figures around him. His straw veil hides whatever lies beneath, while black tendrils mark his passage and a shell-decorated reed wand serves as his uncanny calling card. In the brief encounter, he points the wand at Carl, leaving the impression of a powerful creature whose calm is more frightening than any display of rage.
Description
A well-muscled male figure, his face entirely concealed beneath a thick straw headdress that hangs all the way to his waist. The coarse fibers create a long, uneven veil, leaving no glimpse of skin, hair, or eyes. He is barefoot, and black tendrils gather and crackle around his feet. In one hand he carries a fat wand made of reeds, decorated with colorful string and small seashells; his casual, composed bearing makes the hidden figure feel ominously self-assured.
