Sugar Cube, Donut’s cousin and half-aunt, appears among the heads of the Reminiscence Hydra as a white Persian cat perched atop a long, fleshy neck. Her dandelion-like head makes her an absurdly recognizable part of the monster’s chorus. In the chaos, Shi Maria kills her in a grotesque manner, ending the cat’s brief and bizarre appearance.
Description
Sugar Cube is a white Persian cat, her abundant fur giving her head a rounded, dandelion-like softness. The plush coat surrounds a distinctly feline face, with the luxuriant, fluffy look associated with the breed. In the hydra’s form, her head rises from an unnaturally long, fleshy stalk of a neck, an uncanny contrast to her soft, domestic appearance. She has no described clothing or accessories.
