Sir Ferdinand is a figure from Princess Donut's past who resurfaces in the dungeon as one of the co-warlords of the Home Team NPC faction. His reappearance in The Eye of the Bedlam Bride carries romantic baggage: as Donut's former boyfriend, he presumes she will welcome him back, and she firmly rejects him. In This Inevitable Ruin he settles into a minor supporting role among the crawlers' allies. He turns up during tense discussions about the gods and what their actions might bring, and he is also present at an adjudication involving Juice Box.
